Subject: UoE course admin users of the STACK online assessment system

Description: This mailing list is for UoE users of the STACK online assessment system. It is primarily for server status announcements and discussion of question authoring issues.

It is intended for staff (and occasionally student tutors) who are writing online assessment questions, not for students to ask for help about assessed work online.


If you know of a UoE colleague who manages assessments on STACK but is not a member of this list, please ask them to subscribe, as the list is used for important server maintenance announcements.

Please note that there is a upgrade window between late June and late July every year where major upgrade work needs to be done to update the software on all of the STACK servers. Because the servers are required to be available for uses both before and after this period, requests for any desired uses of the servers during this period must be notified to the STACK service management team, as there is unfortunately extremely little scope for any flexibility during the very tight planned upgrade and testing schedule.
