Subject: All School of Mathematics staff including postdocs

Description: The MathsStaff list is for important announcements (and discussion) for all School of Mathematics staff, including postdocs.

New members of staff are automatically subscribed to this list, using the UUN form of your email address, when your Maths account is created.

If you have not already done so:

1. Please create your "email address alias", for use as your formal email address (matching your name (my.name@ed.ac.uk), rather than your UUN):

https://go.maths.ed.ac.uk/it-email-setup

2. Please wait until you have received confirmation that your requested alias has been set up. *Only* after your email alias has been set up, please then subscribe to the MathsStaff list again with your formal email address (otherwise you will be unable to post to the list):

https://mlist.is.ed.ac.uk/lists/info/mathsstaff

You should be listed in the menu at the top right with your email alias shown.
If the mailing list website does not show you as logged in, you may need to press the "Login" button at the top right of the page, to ensure that the site sees you as logged in.
Please then select the "Subscribe" link to subscribe your alias address to the mailing list.
