Title: Constructive and intuitionistic modal logic
Abstract
In this talk I will give a brief history of intuitionistic modal
logic. We will have a look at some of the first attempts of finding
intuitionistic counterparts of classical modal logics, how they were
motivated, and how the field of intuitionistic modal logic has
developed. We will uncover two main flavours of such logics:
constructive modal logics and intuitionistic modal logics, and we will
see that this pattern extends beyond normal modalities to monotone
modal operators and even conditional operators.
