Mapping is a method to understand complex systems, relationships and power structures. Curated by humanities researcher Inge Panneels, featuring artwork by artists Lise Autogena and
Joshua Portway and platforming at Inspace, Mapping the Anthropocene will specifically engage with mapping as a way of understanding abstract climate change data and to reflect on how economics, the environment, data and technology intertwine
and crossover. The Exhibition will showcase new interpretations of two works by Autogena and Portway: HavObservatoriet – Edinburgh, and
Drip – 115.2205 ml/hr.
We would love for you to join us for the exhibition late and panel discussion to celebrate the launch of this exhibition taking place at
18:00 on Wednesday the 4th of November and featuring a panel discussion, chaired by
Inge Panneels, who is joined by artists Lise Autogena and Joshua Portway and guest speaker
Chris Fleet, Map curator at the National Library of Scotland, followed by audience Q&A, and drinks reception.
If you are not able to join us then please do check out the exhibition which runs
