Dear QEST-FORMATS Community,
To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to qest-announce-group+unsubscribe@unifi.it.We need your help to grow and strengthen our community’s visibility by adding the keyword “Formal Methods” to your Google Scholar profile.
Quick Instructions: It takes less than a minute, Deadline 11 June.
QEST and FORMATS have recently come together to form a joint conference focused on formal quantitative modeling, analysis, and verification. This collaboration was formalized with the inaugural QEST-FORMATS joint edition in 2024.
This year, the joint conference will be evaluated by iCORE, an international conference ranking system that, while originally Australian, is now being adopted widely across Europe and parts of the U.S.
As part of our iCORE application, we are preparing a report to demonstrate the strength and cohesion of our community. One helpful metric is the presence of a shared keyword in Google Scholar profiles. We've selected “Formal Methods”as our common phrase.
The addition of the keyword "formal methods" does not exclude maintaining other keywords such as "performance evaluation", "stochastic models", or others. This step is only a helper for the given purpose rather than a shift in focus of our community. It will become part of the qualification process. We are aware that our community blends many sensibilities. This step that we make now has no consequence on how our PCs will be formed over time.
