We are delighted to invite you to a special guest talk by Peter E. Hart, a pioneering figure in artificial intelligence, entrepreneur, and technology leader.

Peter led the project that created the world's first robot with artificial intelligence, was a member of the groundbreaking Shakey the Robot team, co-developed one of the world's first face recognition systems, and invented and analysed AI algorithms that continue to be used by millions of people around the world every day.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Peter co-founded four companies and established or led research centres for US, French, and Japanese corporations. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, a member of two Halls of Fame, and a Fellow of three professional associations. He holds more than 125 patents spanning AI and software innovation, and according to Google Scholar is among the world's most-cited authors in Computer Science, Robotics, Information Theory, and Pattern Classification.
